Night fragrance
Wearing a fragrance at night that tells your brain that it's time to rest and also makes your pajamas, sheets and pillow smell amazing. I bring Celeste - top notes of plastic bags, paint thinner and rubber gloves (it's wild) that mellow to caramel and vanilla heart notes - with me when I travel and apply it as part of my wind down routine. All the hotel rooms I visit end up smelling like it!
Protein mousse
My current breakfast obsession: 3/4 cup nonfat greek yogurt + 1 scoop whey protein + dash of cinnamon + 1 scoop sunfiber + handful of mixed berries. Mix the first four ingredients with a few tablespoons of water until smooth, then throw in berries. Put in the freezer for 10 mins to make the texture more creamy. 45g protein, 10g fiber - great way to start the day!
Florence and the Machine
Love her new album, but my fav track is "Free", which got me through postpartum anxiety/depression/insomnia and helped me accept that I needed medication to get better. Recently saw FatM on her Everybody Scream tour and wept at several points, it was beautifully cathartic.
Into the Blue
Great read for Sci-fi nerds, SNL heads, theater geeks and anyone who believes in the transformative power of art and the importance of connection at the core of performance. Also had a lot of smutty scenes, which I blushed to read during my flights in premium economy from SFO <> JFK.
