Thursday evening chores
Okay, hear me out. I don’t want to spend my weekend doing TASKS. I want to sit in the sun. If I’m going to grocery shop, I want to be cruising slowly around the farmers’ market, looking for nothing in particular. I want to wake up and have my coffee and not look around me seeing all the things I need to do. Enter Thursday evening chores. Get your groceries. Wash your bedding. Give the bathroom a quick clean. Vacuum. Do it while listening to good music. Yeah, it sucks and you’re tired and you want to flop in front of the TV. But Friday-evening you will thank past you. Trust me.

Doing crappy errands with a friend
It can be hard to find time to have regular sit down meals/coffees/hangs with friends. I recommend doing errands with friends. Costco? Sucks on your own. With a pal? Amazing. A bonus is that they will talk you out of buying stuff you don’t need. Going to the scary self-serve car wash and cleaning out all the crud from your car? Depressing. With a friend? Amazing. You both feel productive, you spend time together, you laugh when they get soap on their hair.

The holy grail of hand sanitizers
This right here will NOT make your hands smell as if you dipped them in a bucket of alcohol or make you smell like a teen lotion from bath and body works. Yes, it’s a bit fancy but worth it. The scent is fresh, natural, a bit woodsy. Makes you feel like you are wearing a linen clothing set with chic jewelry while you lounge in the sun when in fact you are leaving Costco and touched something mysteriously wet (?!) and without this, feel like you may never be clean again. Anyway. Worth it.

Perfect night light
Frankly, I am so obsessed with these that I’ve now bought more than I will admit here. Put them on a timer so they turn on just before you wake up and start the day to a gentle glow instead of the brightness of the overhead light that burns with the fury of a thousand suns.
