Nikon L35AF Pikaichi

Pretty much the perfect knock around point shoot film camera at an incredible price point. Built like a brick, which I love. Especially beautiful for scenes and vignettes – – she’s not going to render a close-up portrait well, but if you back up give your subjects some personal space this camera makes beautiful photographs of people. The metering is pretty incredible for what it is, and I love the way she renders color. No need to use the most expensive film here – – I really love it with Kodak Ultramax.

I really love the way that this little audio player supports kids’ rhythms throughout the day. We use it as our alarm clock in the morning, listen to the Yoto daily podcast with the wonderful Jake during breakfast, cool out with our favorite stories at rest time during travel, and enjoy a meditation before bed pretty much every evening. It creates such a lovely sense of continuity, and the selection of stories music is pretty remarkable!
