Lady Bird (2017 film)

lady bird is one of the few movies that truly resonate with me. the simple yet complex characters and their dynamics, the relationships they have, and the deep yearning that the main character has speak to me so profoundly. it’s silly yet so raw. i could watch a million times and still feel each moment in my heart. i still reflect and remember moments from the film.

Vera, or Faith by G. Shteyngart (2025)

my favorite book of 2025. such a sweet book from the perspective of a child. we often dismiss the complexities of children and the deep thinking and processing they are capable of. vera’s identity crisis at the age of 10 reflects my own personal challenges at age 23. we’re all alike some way or another.
