magic eight ball on a keyring
Something I’ve realised about being an adult is that basically all of life’s big decisions have no easy resolution and are full of horrifying trade-offs no matter the outcome. Cue the magic eight ball on a keyring, which I keep on work bag much to the delight of my horrified coworkers at happy hour drinks. Originally bought for my little brothers but really, just an excuse to get one for myself.

Peter rabbit mint tin
I bought this at my local deli and once I finish chewing on all the mints I intend to fill it with something off-putting, perhaps a lock of mine or a lover’s hair.

Trays and platters for organisation
I have a lot of clutter and I like to organise it on trays and platters. It can be a nice way to keep commonly used items (e.g., daily skincare) looking somewhat tidy. My favourite tray is a (kind of camp) vintage Campari one that I bought in Toulon, but I also have nice coloured glass and silverware trays. They go for peanuts in thrift stores so keep your eyes peeled.

Carrying poems
I keep a few print outs of my favourite poems in my wallet so they’re on me at all times. They’re nice conversation starters and also boredom killers for when I have no connection on the tube or in planes.
