Tonal 'Support Your Local Record Store' Trucker
a good snapback is almost always affixed around a belt loop, if not on the head, and this is my favorite one. i like the blacked out version but don't buy right away; see if the merch page has something more your speed. (bonus points if purchased in store, but not required)
Adelsheim Vineyard Sparkling Brut Rosé
Stella and champagne go together like Morticia and Gomez. granted this is not a real champagne, that does not mean that the sparkling wine isn't something i'm eager to serve at a dinner party. a brut rosé feels like something special--makes a tuesday into spectacle--and this is a solid one that is not too far gone on the price range. (hate to be that witch, but bonus points for a good label)
Dalí Tarot (TASCHEN Books)
good coffee table book, fun artist, a way to look into the future--what's not to love? don't allow hesitation to turn you off from your beginner's journey into tarot. you can respect the professionals while being an amateur yourself. if for nothing else, pretty thing to hold and flip through. (not a bad idea to find some tattoo inspiration from these images either...)
Grand Voyageur Leather Notebook & Travel Journal
warning: NOT PERFORMATIVE. ACTUALLY USE IT. i'm a tactile person, i have a lot of words bouncing around my head, and i am a smidge materialistic. all three of these facets of person thus lead me to my obsession with the paper republic products, particularly the grand voyageur in xl size. as someone who has purchased, started, and abandoned dozens of notebooks and journals over the years, it was not until i got my first paper republic journal that i actually returned to pen-and-paper in earnest. for years, i kept my journaling to a massive word doc on my laptop, but now i cannot go a day without making sure to write, doodle, or collage a-page-a-day in my paper republic. the refills are easy with plain, lined, or grid paper, and can easily customize with color, the elastic, embossing, etc. the return to analog has been upon us for some time now. join the resistance. push back against the performative agenda.
